Department of Surgery
The Lehigh Valley Health Network Department of Surgery is comprised of 17 surgical divisions, all dedicated to advancing surgical education, research and patient care. In the department, more than 130 members of the hospital's surgical staff perform more than 20,000 operations annually. The department has pioneered minimally invasive surgery techniques from laparoscopic surgery to stereotactic radiosurgery and orthopedic surgery, to improve recovery time and patient comfort.
